Biography

Dr. Vinod Kumar is Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Advanced Machining Methods from Thapar University, Patiala.  He has more than 26 years of experience in teaching and research and presently serving as Associate Professor in the Department. He has more than 85 research publications in reputed Journals and 40 research publications in international/national Conferences. Under his supervision, 6 Ph.D. theses have been awarded and 2 Ph.D. theses are on-going. Also 58 Masters (M.E.) theses have been awarded under his supervision. He has been Principal Investigator of research project funded by government agency. He has published many book chapters of Taylor and Francis, Florida, USA, Springer, Omni Scriptum Publishing group, Mauritius etc. He has reviewed many research papers of  Blackwell, Taylor and Francis , Wiley, Elsevier, SAGE, Springer and NOVA Science publications. He visited outside India to present his research papers and chaired sessions at various international conferences. He has been received many best research papers awards.
