Biography
Dr. Vineet Srivastava, PhD (IIT Delhi, India), ME (HBTI, Kanpur, India), BE (Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum, India) and is presently an Associate Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala. He has previously worked as Assistant Professor at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab, SRM University, NCR Campus, Modinagar, Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut & Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Also, he has worked as Research Associate in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi.
He has published 15 International Journal papers, 17 conference papers and 06 book chapters. He has supervised more than 21 Master students and 1 PhD scholar in the areas of Additive Manufacturing, Electrical Discharge Machining, Tribological Studies, Metal Forming, Gait Analysis and industry related problems. Presently he is supervising 02 PhD scholars and 02 Master students in Additive Manufacturing, Modelling and Simulation and Gait Analysis. He has received several projects of worth Rs. 50 lakhs from different funding agencies. His research interests are Additive Manufacturing, Unconventional Machining, Modeling of Gait deformities, Design and Development of Medical Devices and Ultrasonic and coolant assistance in Machining Systems.
