Biography
Dr. Ayush Awasthi, an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala, is a dedicated researcher in computational mechanics, has expertise in thermoelastic fracture simulations, meshfree methods, and numerical modelling of advanced materials. His research focuses on enhancing the Element-Free Galerkin Method for crack analysis in bimaterials, orthotropic media, and graded materials. Passionate about developing efficient numerical algorithms for fracture and fatigue, with contributions to adaptive quadrature, enrichment techniques, and thermal stress modelling.
