Biography

Anu Mittal, PhD (TIET Patiala, India), MTech (NIT, Kurukshetra India), BE (BCET Gurdaspur, India) and is presently working as Assistant Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala. She worked as a stress analysis engineer at Fluor Daniel India Pvt. Ltd. (2001-2009), as a faculty at GIMT, Kurukshetra India (2010–2013) and at NIT Kurukshetra (2013 – 2014) . He has published 12 International Journal papers. She has supervised 8 Master students and 1 PhD scholars in the area of pneumatic conveying and two-phase flow. She has also completed project of worth Rs. 1.15 Crores from NTPC India. Her research interests are two phase flow, heat exchangers design, freeze drying of food products and tubular day lighlihting system design.
