Biography

Dr. Neeraj Grover is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Patiala, Punjab, INDIA. He is a graduate in Aeronautical Engineering and Post graduate in Applied Mechanics form MNNIT, Allahabad. He earned his doctorate from the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. His research interests include mechanics of composite and sandwich structures, analytical and finite element modeling, uncertainty quantification and design, plates and shells, aero-elasticity, structural analysis, CNT reinforced composites, hygro-thermo-mechanical analysis, and functionally graded structures. He has published 28 SCI/SCIE research articles in the journals of international repute such as AIAA, ASME, ASCE, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, Composite Structures, Finite Elements in Analysis and Design, etc. He has a total impact factor of 90 and his publications have received 775 citations (google scholar) so far. He has guided 13 M. Tech students for their thesis work in the areas of hygro-thermo-mechanical responses, CNT reinforced composites, laminated shells and CAE design. Currently, he is guiding 01 M. Tech students and three PhD. students.
