Biography

Appaso M Gadade, PhD (SVNIT Surat, India), ME (Pune University, India), BE (Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, India) and is presently Assistant Professor at Mechanical Engineering Department of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala. He worked as a faculty at Army Institute of Technology, Pune (2004–2019) and at Walchand College of Engineering Sangli (Govt Autonomous), India (March 2019–Dec 2019). He has published 15 International Journal papers and 22 conference papers. He has supervised 11 Master students in the area of failure and damage mechanics of smart structures using advanced computational tools. His research interests are failure and damage mechanics, uncertainty quantification, stochastic finite element analysis and smart materials and structures.
