Biography
Raja Rout received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha, India. Presently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India. He worked as a lecturer at Siksha O Anusandhan University during 2009-2010 and later as an Assistant Professor at Manipal University Jaipur during 2018–2022. He has done his post-doctoral research at CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India (2017–2018) and Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China (2019–2021). His research interests include adaptive control, marine vehicles, cooperative control, and system identification.
