Biography

Vijay Kumar Singh is an enthusiastic and active researcher in the area of Control Theory, Sliding Mode Control, Adaptive control, Autonomous Aerial Vehicles and Adaptive Neural Network Control. Presently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from CCS University, Meerut, in 2016, master’s degree in the field of control systems for robotic manipulators from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra in 2019 and doctoral degree in the field of Prescribed-Time Adaptive and Optimal Control for Nonlinear Dynamical Systems from IIT (BHU) Varanasi in 2023. Mr. Singh visited Lodz University of Technology, Poland, from 15 September 2022 to 14 October 2022 to do research in the field of Reaching Law-based Sliding Mode Control. He is actively involved in several national and international collaborations and has published in many journals and international conference publications.
